Dental Surgeries

Cambridge Street Dental Practice

28 Cambridge St, Saint Neots PE19 1JL, UK – 01480 475438

Absolutely fantastic dentist! I've been to a lot of dentists over the years and had an enormous amount of work done for various reasons. I can honestly say that this is the best dental practice I've come across. The staff are very friendly (receptionist is an absolute darling) and the dentist himself is very kind and patient. I've read a couple of other reviews that weren't quite so glowing and can't imagine what happened there because it doesn't sound like the same practice to me! Excellent all round as far as I'm concerned!

They are every friendly and I'm glad they are my Dentis. I would recommend anyone to try them I've had no problems with them.

Spire Dental Group - St Neots Dental Practice

Friendly professional staff, I felt really well looked after, all treatment is explained very thoroughly beforehand. I would definitely recommend this dental practice

Priory Park Dental Practice

29-31 New St, St Neots, Saint Neots PE19 1AJ, UK – 01480 213999

Exceptional service from all members of staff here. I needed an emergency appointment yesterday and I got one. Estera and Chelsea were beyond amazing with me and I cannot thank them enough. They are a credit to the Practice. I have nothing but good things to say about everyone there and I could not recommend it more highly. I am overcoming my fear of the dentist after many years, because I have finally found the right place for me. They do not condescend me nor do they cause pain and expect me not to flinch! Superb, very clean, friendly place. Thank you all. Chloe

Nothing but good things to say . Always very helpful. And very caring treatment. Highly recommend.

Almond Road Surgery

Almond Rd, St Neots, Saint Neots PE19 1DZ, UK – 01480 473413

Not to bad a place to go but not great. Its the same as most which cant be helped in relation to bookings and wait times. However not fond of the office staff. Fairly abrupt and no real sense of care. Waiting area could do with a spruce up. Being at the doctors is not fun for anyone so a comfortable waiting environment i feel is very important. Doctors however are all fantastic which at the end of the day is the most important thing.

I had a bad accident and they found time for me to see a doctor on a very busy Monday, no issues with booking appointments (phones are always answered promptly) and the doctor I saw was great. I find the online calendar/ results really useful too, and it makes my life much easier. Fantastic surgery.

St Neots Hospital

Howitt's Ln, Eynesbury, Saint Neots PE19 2JA, UK – 01480 210210

Great healthcare generally, friendly staff and good facilities. However, I agree with Adrian, it is almost impossible to speak to any management about the care of my mum. Have only actually spoken to her doctor once and she has been in for just over six months now. Need to drastically improve communication, it was very difficult to get in contact with my mum when she had her phone taken off her, only improved once I reported to nurses. Me and other relatives have tried to get contact with the doctor to arrange for her to come out over Christmas and New year over a month before, but have never got a response, at all, from the doctor.

Find Local Churches & Places of Worship

The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin

Church Street, St. Neots, Cambridgeshire, PE19 1QD, Saint Neots PE19 5TP, UK – 01480 471297

My wife amd I were married in this Church nine years ago, we lived a couple of doors down on School Lane so my mate Richard in his 1949 Riley car drove my wife to be the full 200 yards from our house to the church. It is a beautiful, victorian-restored parish church. You have the choice of which version of sermon you want, which words are more beautiful to you. I always find the King James Bible the most beautiful but if you want the New International Version they will do that, the same vicars conduct three services on a Sunday for people who are a bit particular but it is the same God. It must have some magic because my wife and I are still married nine years later, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, in sickness and in health, foresaking all others, as long as we both shall live. I said it and I meant it. I hope you do too. We started a tradition of putting flowers in the heating grates down the aisles of the pews, and the curate asked me is that OK because it might become a tradition? I don't know if they stll do. Then all off to the pub/restaurant by the River Great Ouse, 200 yards in the other direction from my house on the same street, for the reception. Arranging the guests was hard, but arranging the venue was not! St Mary's has a peal of eight bells and the bell ringers will celebrate your marriage by ringing out on the bells, they ring out every sunday. Music is very much part of the joy of God at Eaton Socon parish church and it is not matter if you can play the comb and paper or whatever, it is part of the worship, the joy of God who gave us this life. I am not particularly Christian but I can still say, thank you for letting me appreciate this beautiful life. The interior is very plain, whitewashed walls, 19th century pews, stained glass windows. The churchyard is kept immaculately, I know, because I used to keep it.

Haven't been inside but looks very impressive from the outside. Looks very well kept with cut grass and no litter and a lot of benches to sit on :)

Great Paxton, Holy Trinity

Church Lane, Great Paxton, Cambridgeshire, PE19 6RG, Great Paxton, Saint Neots PE19 6RJ, UK – 01480 211048

Possibly the most botched-looking arch I've come across - I can't help but wonder whether all those centuries ago they did the work, stood back and said 'oh, nobody will ever notice'. You can see a cut through on the outside of the building too if you look up to the clerestory.

lovely

River Church St Neots

The Maltings, Eaton Socon, Saint Neots PE19 8ES, UK – 07904 101720

Open, welcoming and genuine love. A great place to meet good people and rest the provision of our God.

Great worship, very child and family friendly and really caring and lovely people. The preaching is theologically sound too. I really like it

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Eynesbury Hardwicke

Blazin Burger

22, 20 Huntingdon St, St Neots, Saint Neots PE19 1BB, UK – 01480 477000

These are the best burgers I've had in England. Nothing fancy goes on them but they are full of flavor with tons of toppings. Just like the bar and grill back home in the states used to make. Depending on who is making them they serve solid mill shakes too. And the fries are legit. Never had a bad experience.

Great burgers and delicious cocktails/mocktails. Excellent sweet potato fries too, and tasty (not chewy) calamari. Friendly staff and an open kitchen with 5* hygiene rating. Great experience and we'll definitely go again.

Ury Restaurant - St Neots

12 High St, Saint Neots PE19 1JA, UK – 01480 475767

Food was very ordinary. The place was surprisingly busy. All curries seemed to taste very similar with little variation between them. The Malabar parathas were probably our best item on our order. It was a fairly ordinary meal

Very enjoyable Indian meal. We started with poppadoms including dried banana and six chutneys. The starters were well laid out and presented. The staff explained the food before we ate it. Main courses were equally as good especially the yoghurt. My colleague recommended it and it's so good we will go back. Photos attached.

Kaaizan's

1 Longsands Parade, St Neots, Saint Neots PE19 1SU, UK – 01480 218279

Great food, big portions and good value. I highly recommend this place. Also happy to serve poppadoms as a starter if you like.

Came in Saturday for lunch and it was quiet. The food was really good, lamb e doula particularly was a highlight. Would go again for sure.

Eaton Socon Pre-School

38 Queens Gardens, Eaton Socon, Saint Neots PE19 8DN, UK – 01480 406047

I have 5 children, all have attended this pre school (2 currently attend), I can not praise the staff enough for all their hard work and dedication to all the children. The new build, once completed, will be fantastic. Caroline and her brilliant team are superb, I can't thank them enough for the great start they have given my children.

What can I say I have had four of my five children attend Eaton Socon preschool my eldest was to old to go when I moved to st neots which was a great shame. I couldn't ask for a more professional and friendly place for my children to start their journeys in education, I felt safe and confident leaving them everyday in the most welcoming and caring setting of the perschool . The staff where always understanding and helpful from start to finish of our journey with them, my children came on a lot and the confidence they had when leaving was fantastic to see especially as my youngest did not like leaving my side at all, she would cry non stop until we got to school then she was fine. They helped out a lot when my son was in hospital and for that I am greatly appreciated and always thankful for their support. I can not thank them enough for all they have done for my children, I did move three of the children but soon moved them back because they did not get the same care and attention from the other preschool that Eaton Socon gave them. I would highly recommend the staff and the preschool to every new parent that asked me. So carry on girls you are doing a wonderful and spectacular job.
